It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Carter of Buda, Texas, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Carter and Nora Butler Carter; his wife Mary Edith "Chick"; his daughter Norma Jean Swenson; his brothers, Wayne and Arthur Carter; his nephews, Mike Carter, Charles Mitchell and Paul Dennis Mitchell; and his niece Doris Mitchell.
He is survived by: his sister Gladys Mitchell; his close friend Florence Simpson; and his nieces and nephews, Sandy Ragsdale, Lesley Carter, Shelley Ballard, Sabra Masters, Tempy Barton, Larry Carter, Chris Carter and Rowdy Ragsdale.
