He was predeceased by: his parents, David Blakely and Gloria Blakely. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Jennifer Blakely, Natalie Little (Greg), Sarah Guevremont (Chris) and Rachael Hendricks (Jesse); his siblings, Beverly Hutton (Tommy), Robert Blakely and David "Mike" Blakely; his sister-in-law Katherine Blakely; his siblings, Christopher and Noel Blakely; and his grandson Isaac Guevremont. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Baptist Church (6907 Convict Hill Rd, Austin, TX 78749).
As a special way to honor Richard, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting a tree in his memory.
