As Rita departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rita may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rita leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anita Fernandez and Louis Fernandez; her husband Wayne Waters; and her siblings, L. J. Fernandez and Connie Hebert.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Collier (Becky Mitchell), Tom (Barbara Collier), Debbie (Don Haluzan), Michael Gorsalitz, Wayne (Cindy Waters) and Rhonda (Ruben Gonzales); and her sisters, Jean Bondesen and Barbara Schroeder. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many children.
