He is survived by : his father-in-law Marlin; his son James Joseph "JJ" Griffin (Trinity); his grandchildren, Thomasin Marlee "Sunshine" and Jameson Tex Griffin; his sisters, Jo Griffin of San Angelo, TX and Karla Ann Smith of San Angelo, TX; his siblings-in-law, Jim (Janet Sheffield) of Lorena and Mary (Jim Lewis) of McKinney, TX; and also Spike Dykes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
