He was predeceased by : his parents, Steve Dobos and Opal Dobos (Burleson); and his siblings, Cameron Dobos, Virginia Coburn and Wanda Bluhm.

He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Dobos of Marquez; his children, Kari DeeAnn Cowey (Larry) of Seguin, Randall Dumas of Seattle, Tina Rene'Lamar (Mike) of Marquez and Toni Stinnett (Shawn) of Buffalo; and his pet Prissy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and an abundance of great-grandchildren.
