It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James D. Boyd (Buffalo, Texas), who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Boyd and Lois Boyd (Goad); and his siblings, Gladys Sales, William David, Elmer Lee and Bengie Boyd.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Chatham; his daughters, Cindy Halderman (Dee) of Shiner and Sherry Lacina of Victoria; his grandchildren, Jody Hagar, Casey Ward and Clint Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Mycah Hager and Cooper Nicholas; his brother Gary Boyd (Rebecca) of Palestine; his stepdaughter Autumn Spears of Houston; his close friend Bobbie Ivy; his grandchildren, Michael Ivy (Kelley), Billy Ivy (Misti), Makenzey, Kennedy, Tristan, Braylon and Bryson; and his great grandchild Weston.
