He is survived by: his parents, Walter Overton and Mary Sue Overton of Bowie, Texas; his wife Kathy Overton; his children, Kasey and Bootz Overton; his mother-in-law Brenda Smith; his brother Brandon Overton (Beverly) of Crossroads, Texas.; his nephews, Brandon Jr. (Libby) and Tanner Overton; his pets, Sandy and Rusty; and his cousin Steven Strohl. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Overton Fisheries (19367 I-45, Buffalo, TX 75831).
