He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Canfield and Billie Canfield; his sisters, Iris Leah Craft and Judy Simon; and his cousin Anthony Veal.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lavada Canfield; his children, Scott Canfield of Rancho Mirage, CA, Tracie Robinson (Barry) of Tyler and Sherrie Bernardin (Pete) of Richardson; his grandsons, Collier Robinson and William Bernardin; his sister Cynthia Barnes of Tulsa, OK; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Hill of Flint and Gaylon Metcalf of Teaselville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
