He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Gordon Floyd Sr. and Bennie Lorraine Finney; and his siblings, Ruth Duckworth, Dewey Floyd and Frank Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Ford Floyd; his children, Deborah Henderson (Greg) and Mitchell Floyd; his stepchildren, Angela Wiggins (John) and Candee Hinds (Daryl); his grandchildren, Sam Henderson, Ben Henderson and Charli Byers; his great grandchildren, Brylee and Beau; and his sisters, Bennie Thompson and Marjorie Guelker (Robert Ballinger). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
