She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine McEachern Smith and Benjamin Reese Smith; and her husband John David Johnston. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Johnston and Jimmy Johnston (Kim); her sisters, Pat Rae (Clarence) and Kaye Henson; and her grandchildren, Benjamin David Johnston (Jordan), Jessica Parker (Brandon), Joshua Haygood (Tori), Matthew Haygood (Jena), Ashley Johnston and Rachael Wells (Adam). She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
