She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie McGalin and Jessie Lee McGalin; her husband Roy Albert Stimits; and her siblings, Erma Matlock, Sherry Kellum and Charles Henry McGalin.

She is survived by: her children, Monica Ann Mahfouz (David) of Beaumont and Roy Alan Stimits (Carol) of North Carolina; her grandson Christopher Mahfouz of Houston; her children, Megan Stimits (John) of Tennessee and Eric Stimits (Florence) of Virgina; her great grandchild Jace Stimits; and her sisters, Jerry Durham (Ed) of Center and Vivian Crawford of Buna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
