It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Alan Brookman of Burkburnett, Texas, who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John Alan leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Brookman and Josephine Brookman (O'Brien); his daughter Beth Brookman; and his brothers, Donald Brookman and Jerry Brookman.

He is survived by: his significant other Sharon Ruth Ramsey; and his sons, Bruce Brookman of Ardmore and Mark Brookman (Michele) of Burkburnett.
