We announce the death of Joyce Diane Larson of Burkburnett, Texas, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 88. Joyce will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold "Boxie" Schultz and Hulda Jorgensen Schultz; her husband Phillip; her sister Janice Tietje; and her grandson Mitchell Trimm.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Larson (Kathryn), Richard Larson (Dennis Sanden), David Larson (JoAnn), Leann Jorda (Bernard) and Kelly Goff (Lee); and her siblings, Lillian Soley, Jack Schultz (Joyce), Joe Schultz (Mary Kay), Larry Schultz (Catherine) and Lorna Kennedy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls (howf.org).
