He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Smith and Jane Estaline Smith; his wife Carolyn Smith (Reynolds); and his siblings, Johnny and Joyce.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pinky Raider (Smith), Vernon (Joan) and Harold (Cindy); his children, Bev (Jerry Lynn) and Craig (Mitzi Smith); his grandchildren, Kaleena (Shawn Kea), Ashley (Miles Henderson), Jason (Jacie Montgomery), Josh (Abby Caporale), Clint (Amy Caporale), Cody (Allison Caporale), Cassie (Jason Ratchford) and Kyle (Alex Caporale); and his great grandchildren, Avery, Maddy, Alivia, Cason, Harper, Hadley, Abby, Leighton, Landree, Wyatt, Jonah, Gunner and Eloise. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
