He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Matthew and Letha Mae Thompson (West); and his siblings, Charla Klinkerman, Joe Thompson and Richard Thompson.
He is survived by: his sister Theresa Borjesson (Bruce); and his children, Kimberly Edwards (Larry), Robert Thompson (Leesa) and Charles Thompson (Jessica). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
