It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Murphy (Burkburnett, Texas), who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Janice, Pat and Mike Murphy; his children, Kelly Nicole Murphy and Carroll Donavan Murphy; and his parents, Chase Walker and Lota Faye Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Robyn Murphy; his children, William "Curtis" (Bobbie Sue Murphy), Tonya (Greg Owen) and Tim (Michelle McCoy); his grandchildren, Colleen "PoohBear" Graska, Thonalan Graska, Brandon, Darian Miller, Ryan, Tessa Thompson, Kelsey, Josh Young, Kelley, McKayla McCoy, Nicole, Josh Joslin, Taylor Murphy, Westin McCoy and Alissa Owen; and his nephews, Dallas Murphy and Kyle Tiner. He is also survived by great grandchildren; along with dozens more nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls in memoriam.
