With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas A. Smith of Burkburnett, Texas, born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert Smith Sr. and Myrtle Smith (Walker); and his granddaughter Anna Lynn. He is survived by : his wife Gloria Schuh; his children, Thomas Smith Jr. of Burkburnett, Texas, Jennifer Smith of Wichita Falls, Penny Griffin of Pease and Gloria Smith II of Mora, Minnesota; and his brothers, Jack Smith (Dixie) of Fargo and Gil Smith Jr. of Devil's Lake. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
