He was predeceased by: his parents, John Meadows and Vergie Meadows; his wife Shirley; and his son Alan. He is survived by: his daughter Amber Meadows (Cabel Brooks) of Burleson; his granddaughter Shaelyn Brooks of Argyle; and his brothers, John Meadows Jr. of Hanford and James Melvin Meadows (Sharon) of Fort Worth. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
