He was predeceased by: his mother Dolly Ann Payne; and his nephew Shane Stacy. He is survived by: his father James E. Payne; his children, Dolly Ann Pannell, Holly Deann Hodge, Barry E. Payne Jr. (JoAnn Payne) and Landon Louis Payne; his wife Nenita Payne; his siblings, Ann Muller and Clifford Payne; and his grandchildren, Madison Saenz, Shiloh Pannell, Brayden Pannell, Keaton Pannell, Leah Payne, Serenity Hodge and Levi Payne.
