He is survived by: his wife Judy Thornton; his sons, Ricky (Debbie Thornton) and Randy (Pam Thornton); and his grandchildren, Kenny, Michelle Wilson, Jason, Tiffany Buck, Rance, Ashley Thornton, Parker Thornton, Neil, Melissa Schultz, Melinda Thornton, James and Miranda Bullard. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rendon Cemetery (5546 FM1187, Burleson, TX 76028).
