Janet leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Janet’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Janet will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Westerfeld (Beckmeyer); and her former husband Bill Spinks. She is survived by: her daughter Becky; her son-in-law Chris Phillips of Burleson, Texas; her son Jeff Spinks of Centralia, Illinois; and her sister Carol Hale of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
