It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Burgess of Burleson, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bill Burgess and Sandra Bassham. He is survived by : his wife Christi Burgess (Cross); his children, Sam Burgess (Ashley), Chandler Collins (Elizabeth), Dustin Burgess (Ulva) and Ashlyn Braddock; his sisters, Lollie Burgess, Ginny Hancock and Billie Paris (Cliff); and his grandchildren, Dakota Brenden, Peyton Burgess, Carliee, Chloee, Clairee, Carsyn Collins, Eden Hannah and Elliana Burgess.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skyvue Funeral Home (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Skyvue Memorial Gardens (7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063).
