He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe L. Hammond and Rosa Lee Hammond; his brothers, Walt Hammond and Eldon Hammond; and his son Danny Hammond.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hammond; his daughter Edith Folsom (Terry); his grandchildren, Robert Martinez, David Dannheim, Brigitta Spethson and Benjamin Hammond; and his sister Leldon Matthews. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
