He is survived by: his children, Deborah Corbin (Rodney Corbin), Steve Choate (Mindy Choate), Michael Choate (Anna Choate) and Kevin Choate; and his grandchildren, Joshua Guenter (Gina Truong), Brent Guenter (Caitlyn Guenter), Shelby Metcalf, Sean Choate, Lily Choate and Austin Choate. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
