He is survived by: his wife Aldeen; his children, Tracy Sherrod, Michael Smith (Robbie) and Gaylon Smith (Rachel); his grandchildren, Josh Sherrod, Jordan Sherrod, Suzanne Salinas (Justin), Rachel Durett (Joe), Aston Smith and Abby Smith; and his great grandchild Witten Moore.
