He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jaeger and Lillie Jaeger; his siblings, Delores (Jack Gummelt), Bernhardt (Lois Jaeger), Melvern (Theresa Jaeger), Wilburn Jaeger and Lanis Jaeger; and his brother-in-law Robert Zemanek.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Irene Jaeger; his children, Daren Jaeger of San Diego, California, Brian Jaeger (Karen) of Burton, Texas and Tanya Drews (Lonny) of Bryan, Texas; his grandchildren, Shelby, Collin Lawson of College Station, Texas, Kyle, Sadie Drews of Burleson, Texas, Zoe Jaeger, Eli Jaeger and Emberly Jaeger of Burton, Texas; his great grandchildren, Landrie and Hadley Lawson of College Station, Texas.; his siblings, Jeanette Zemanek of Houston, Edith, Earl Featherston of Houston, Jerry and Paulette Jaeger of Cary; and his sister-in-law Sarah Jaeger of Houston.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Memorial Oaks Chapel (1306 W Main St, Brenham, TX 77833). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Jaeger-Witte Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jaeger-Witte Heritage Cemetery or Hospice Brazos Valley.
