He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schooler and Helen Schooler (Vinson). He is survived by: his nephew Ross Michael Schooler of Hammond, LA; and his niece Charlene Schooler Ryan of New Orleans, LA..
He was a devoted member of the Burton Heritage Society since the early 2000's, serving as President for a few terms, committee member and donating items for many of our fundraisers and offering his establishment, the Pig and Whistle Pub, as our meeting spot for many a jovial and spirited discussion about saving and preserving our local history.
