He is survived by: his wife LaNette; his sister Virginia Miller of Houston; his daughters, Pamela Hiller (Leslie) of Caldwell, Lynda Ficklin of Chappell Hill and Johnette Boyd-Baker of Chappell Hill; his grandchildren, Keri Valdes (Santiago) of Houston, Kimberly Davidson (John) of Westlake, Nathan Ficklin of Littleton, Lt. Colonel Daniel Ficklin (Lindsay) and Michael Ficklin (Amanda) of The Woodlands; and his stepgrandsons, Chase Baker (Hillary) of Hempstead and Shaun Baker (Kristina) of Cypress. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 2 step great-grandsons and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
