He is survived by: his wife Mary Lawson; his daughters, Jennifer, Kathy, Lauree and Kyrie; his son-in-law Bubba Hamm; his grandchildren, Ashley Tucker, Ryan Tucker (Ana), Leonard "Trey" Hamm, Lance Hamm and Lyssa Gutierrez; his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Derek, Wyatt Tucker, Colton, Nomine and Wade Ruiz; his siblings, Norma Williams, Dollie Williams, Cindy Botkin, James (Jodie) and Larry (Linda); his siblings-in-law, Robert (Dianne), Louise Boudreaux, Margaret Denman (Huey), Linda Lawson and Bertha Lawson; and his family, Wayne Neal, Matt Nichols and Joey Ruiz.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home (530 TX-36, Caldwell, TX 77836). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burleson County Cowboy Church (300 Co Rd 169, Caldwell, TX 77836). A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery (1411 W 12th St, Caldwell, TX 77836).
