She was predeceased by: her mother Sontana Coy; and her stepfather Oscar Coy. She is survived by: her father Ted Heckert; her son Jared Heckert; her adoptive son Nathan Corbett; her daughter KarieDawn Heckert; her friend Michael Bosworth; and her sisters, Shellmarie Skinner and Amanda Thompson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home (530 TX-36, Caldwell, TX 77836). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
