He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Bourne and Roberta Bourne; his siblings, June McKinley and Maurice Bourne Jr.; and his wife Janet.

He is survived by: his siblings, Cecil Bourne and Martha Whinery; his daughters, Valerie (Brendan Sterne), Katie (Ron Phares) and Andrea (Mark Szajkowski); and his granddaughters, Savannah, Lilah, Cora, Minnie, Emma and Lulu.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Westlake (1460 Redbud Trail, West Lake Hills, TX 78746).
