She was predeceased by: her parents, R. L. Shafer and Lillie Mae Shafer; and her husband Freddie Joe Valenta. She is survived by: her daughters, Shelly Rae Davis, Stephanie Gerjes Morgan (Chris) and BJ Gerjes Biehunko (John); her grandchildren, Blayke Kubenka (Kaci), Dylan Hase, Quinton Kubenka, Bryce Hase, Haeleigh Morgan, Ryder Hase, Emalee Morgan, Natalie Morgan, Colton Biehunko and Peyton Biehunko; her great grandchildren, Cash Kubenka, Harley Kubenka and Cadie Kubenka; and her pet Milo. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Blodgett Church of Christ (9278 FM127, Pittsburg, TX 75686). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Vanderbilt Church of Christ.
