She was predeceased by: her parents, Burt Carter and Julia (Dobbs); her husband Otis Sims; her son Carl Sims; her siblings, Judy Smith and Larry Carter; and her granddaughter Lindsey Powell.
She is survived by: her daughter Lee Ann Sims of Call; her siblings, James Carter of Granbury, Barry Carter of Abilene and Debbie Dodds of San Angelo; her grandson Michael Allan Sims; and her great grandchildren, Riley and Kayson.
