He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Washington (Alice) and Melinda Luckey-Washington; and his siblings, Glenda, Naran, William Donnell and David.
He is survived by: his sister Teresa Dynes of San Antonio, TX; his children, Sammy Washington, Jr. (Kim) of San Antonio, TX, Eboni Washington of Austin, TX and Tiffany McClain of Augusta, GA; his grandchildren, Tysiah, Diadra, Jordan, Amina, Neveah, Ava and Jaxson; his stepgrandson Brayden; and his aunt Margaret Robinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
