We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024, at the age of 80, Thurmon Tolbert Jr. of Call, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thurmon Munson Tolbert, Sr. and Viola McCowan Tolbert; his wife Elva Tolbert; and his nephew Norris Dillard, Jr.. He is survived by : his son Thurmon Munson Tolbert, III (Mary); his siblings, Cora Dawson (late Pastor Marvin Dawson), Velma Dillard (Norris) and Larry Tolbert (Liz); and his nieces, Carol Dawson, Detoma Dawson, Norlisa Dillard-Banks (Odie), Nicole Dillard and Dayna Tolbert Hennigan (Roland).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark A. M. E. Church (14501 Routt Point Rd, Needville, TX 77461). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the Routt Point Cemetery (14617 Moody Rd, Needville, TX 77461).
