He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Hensley, (Sprayberry) and John Allen Hensley, Sr.; and his siblings, John Allen Hensley, Jr., Robert "Bubba" Hensley and Marie Marsh.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Hensley (Heather) of Tomball and Mitch Hensley (Heather) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Dax Hensley, Allie Hensley, Jaxson Hensley and Carson Hensley; and his siblings, Larry (Shirley Hensley) of Onalaska, David (Bonnie Hensley) of Onalaska, Mary Marsh of Leggett, Lisa Green of Onalaska, Cynthia Lowery (Roger) of Onalaska, Maggie Bankston of Onalaska and Gay Ann Buller (Allen) of Coldspring. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
