He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A wake will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home (2800 N Travis Ave, Cameron, TX 76520). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
