He is survived by : his children, Brenda Gail Smith (Kevin) and Steve Speight (Wendy); his grandchildren, Stevie Armistead, Slater Smith, Stephanie of Montana, Whitley Strickland, Chaney Parchman, Peyton Conyers and Neely Conyers; and his great grandchildren, Landon Moser, Ethan Gutierrez, Holden Armistead, Turner Armistead, Callum Armistead, Tucker Strickland, Stevie Strickland and Lux Bustillos.
