He is survived by: his father Kenneth Wilhite; his wife Diann Wilhite; his children, James Wilhite (Faith) and Leslie Koonce; his grandchildren, Kyrston Koonce, Kinsey Koonce, Kassie Koonce, Gunner Koonce, Jadyn Wilhite and Stephen Wilhite; his siblings, Eddie Wilhite (Geneva), Troy Wilhite and Debbie McClure (Mike); his siblings' children, Chance Wilhite, Dillon Wilhite, Stormy Haggard (Richard) and Jasmine Randa (Guy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ivy Haggard, Colt Haggard, Grace Randa and Waylon Randa.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home (1701 Goodnight Blvd, Wills Point, TX 75169). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
