In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nora leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nora may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Parker and Christine LaVerne Burgess. She is survived by: her husband Jonny Johnson; her daughter Staci McDonald; her grandchildren, Taylor Barnett, Cami McDonald and Jonny Cade McDonald; her great grandchildren, Nora Jane Barnett and Murphy Rose Jacobsen; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry and Celia Johnson of Baytown, Texas.. She is also survived by Her extended family includes numerous cousins, her niece and nephew, and many friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waller-Thornton Funeral Home - Huntsville (672 FM 980, Huntsville, TX 77320). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Boontown Cemetery.
