He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Taylor and Mary Smallwood Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his daughters, Sarah Walker (Eddie) and Amy Douglas (Troy); his grandchildren, Cate Baxter (Jake), Caroline Treadway (Todd), Cole Walker, Audrey and Alaina Douglas; his great grandchildren, Rhett, Ellie, Sutton Baxter and Diana Cate Treadway; his siblings, Lynn Rackley (Richard) and Tom Taylor (Ann); and his brother-in-law Jerry Walters (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
