He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Ann Rasco Phillips; his wife Melinda Phillips; his children, Steve (Christina Phillips), Joe (Misty Phillips), Kim Townsend, Robert (Kathryn Phillips), Stephanie (Chad Countryman), William Robert Phillips, III, Justin (Shannon Phillips) and Ryan Stone; and his aunt Sandra Kirk. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eubank Funeral Home (27532 State Hwy 64, Canton, TX 75103).
