He was predeceased by: his parents, Olivia Bindseil and Albert Bindseil. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Bindseil Martin (James), Mark Bindseil and Debbie Bindseil Tubbs (Brian); his grandchildren, Courtney Martin Webb (Evan), Michael Martin (Angela), Kendall Tubbs and Reagan Tubbs; his great grandchildren, Lily and Cooper Webb; and his wife Carolyn Grimm.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home (1071 FM2673, Canyon Lake, TX 78133). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Protestant Church (172 W Coll St, New Braunfels, TX 78130).
