She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Steglich and Flora Steglich; her husband Jeff McKinney; her daughters, Debra Lynn McKinney and Kathleen McKinney Vitek; and her siblings, Agnes Walseth, Maurice Steglich, Lenwood Steglich and Dorothy Caperton.
She is survived by: her son Michael McKinney (Susan); her grandchildren, Scott McKinney (Erin) and Elizabeth McKinney Sauppe; her great grandchildren, Mattie McKinney and Grayson McKinney; and her son-in-law Ron Vitek.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (210 S Main St, Salado, TX 76571). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cook Walden Forrest Oaks Memorial Park (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Salvation Army.
