It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Tyrer of Canyon, Texas, who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Marvin F. Tyrer. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Michael Griffin (Vanessa), Bryan Joseph Griffin (Monique), Amy Jean Marie Griffin (Thad) and Daniel Steven Tyrer (Irma); his wife Pat; his grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Jenna, Dez, Alexander and Andrew; his siblings, Michael Tyrer (Wendy), David Tyrer, Deborah Shaw (Ron) and Shelly Malterer (Tim); his father-in-law Daniel R. Brazelton; his siblings-in-law, Michael Jay Brazelton and Pamela Brazelton; Kathleen Bartz.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Brooks Chapel (1702 5th Ave, Canyon, TX 79015).
