He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Carrol and Lois Jane Grissom (Hopson); his granddaughters, Kaylee Shae Lewis and Kenna Jo Lewis; and his siblings, Elaine Miller, David Grissom, Danny Grissom, Raeann Boykin and Sheila Horn.
He is survived by: his significant other Donna Grissom; his children, Bobbie Jo Lewis (Scott) of Midland, TX, Billy Don Grissom (Tana) of Tuttle, OK and Michael Brandon Grissom (Danielle) of Carbon, TX; his grandchildren, Alyssa Bishop (Bear), Brennan Grissom (Kamryn), Austin Lewis, Braxton Grissom, Hunter Grissom, Kylie Lewis, Morgan Grissom and Garrett Grissom; and his brothers, Steven Parker and Bill Grissom. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higginbotham Funeral Home (219 W Roberts St, Gorman, TX 76454). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Murray Cemetery.
