Though Val may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Val touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Schroeder and Willie A. Hinze; and his siblings, Ruth Bayer and Willie L. Hinze, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Hinze; and his daughter Jennifer (David Mohr) of Carmine.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church (211 Luther Ln, Carmine, TX 78932). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to Gardenia Janssen Animal Shelter in LaGrange or to Hospice of South Texas, or any of their regions in Texas.
