She was predeceased by: her former husband Bob Tatum; her brother Robert Wendt; her parents, Louis Wendt and Jewel Wendt; and her aunt Edyth Wendt.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy, Carl Reynolds, Sherry, Mike Hill and Crissie Tatum; her grandchildren, Britney Cornett, Colten Reynolds, Kenny, Aundrea Wilson, Randy, AJ Wilson, Carter Tatum, Cason Tatum and Mia Tatum; and her fiancé Lew Johnson. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Restland Funeral Home & Crematory (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery-Court of Veterans IV. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church (12411 Templeton Trail, Farmers Branch, TX 75234).
