He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Scheible and Leslie Scheible. He is survived by: his wife Lyn Scheible; his children, Dana Mordecai (Steven Mordecai) and Kevin Scheible (Sharon Scheible); his grandchildren, Marshall Mordecai (Allison Mordecai), Emily Mordecai, E. Scheible and Kaelin Scheible; his great grandchild Jane Mordecai; and his siblings, Jan Fletcher, Bill Scheible (Yolanda Scheible) and Judy Malone (Ed Malone). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Southmont Baptist Church (2801 Pennsylvania Dr, Denton, TX 76205). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the DFW National Cemetery.
