He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Koch and Guy W. Joines; his spouse Dixiana "Dixie" Arnold; his son-in-law Terry Williams; and his siblings, Ervin, Raymond Joines, Viola Sparks and Birdie Joines.
He is survived by: his children, Marja Williams of Bedford, Mindy Paschal (David) of Meridian and Mart Joines (Karen) of Kennedale; his grandson Erik Williams (Julie); his great grandchildren, Breanna, Bradley and Brayden; his grandson Adam Williams (Kellie); his great grandchildren, Luke and Micah; his grandson Brandon LaGrone; his great grandchild Carson; his grandchild Ashley Brewster (Eric); his great grandchildren, Brooks, Brodie and Briggs; his granddaughter April Blauvelt (Riley); his great grandchildren, Kye and Charleigh Kay; his granddaughters, Christina Jones (Kevin) and Bridget Lane (Will); and his great grandchildren, Emerson, Coleman and Baker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel (307 W Wellington St, Carthage, TX 75633).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association and the Gideons.
